What's the ft/lbs (torque) for the ATF pan plug?

I looked in the FSM and searched here, but couldn't find it.

Since I'd removed the plug already...I torqued it to 18 ft/lbs (same as the oil pan) -- hopefully this is close.

Code:
TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Part tightened N·m kgf·cm ft·lbf
Drain plug x Oil pan 20 205 15

ooops, looks like the code tag does not work here, its 15 'lbs page ss24 of the 96 LX450 repair manual

Thanks Raven!

I torqued mine to 20 ft lbs. I just did the drain, flush through tranny oil cooler line yesterday. I also removed the tranny oil pan and put some fresh FIPG, reinstalled the pan and torqued the pan bolts to 6 ft lbs. Tranny is running smooth with Mobil 1 ATF synthetic. :D

I am very impressed with the improvement in shifting with just the 4 quart drain/fill. Am using Chevron tranny fluid (got a case of it from Costco).

Hey Doug,

I just started the a drain/fill process using Chevron. What kind of interval have you been using?

Thanks,

Same interval as the oil change. I'm under there, got the oil pan and am messy already.
My oil changes are anywhere between 5k and 7.5k intervals (depending on time, weather, other commitments, etc.).

I'll keep this up for 4 or 5 changes, then, depending on how the ATF looks, I might drain/fill every other oil change.
