My wife's 2004 LandCruiser bravely sacrificed itself to minimize the damage to my FJ Cruiser by bearing the brunt of a falling tree and carport roof in our recent spate of tornados.

Everything has been fixed except we cannot find an OEM roof rack for a 100. No new ones, no salvaged ones. She does not want an expedition rack. She wants OEM, and when Mama's not happy, well... you know how that goes.

Does anyone have a spare OEM roof rack sitting around that needs a new home?

BTW, if you wanna know why I drive Toyotas, look at that picture. My wife's LC is supporting the carport roof and about 2 tons of tree. It is pushed to the pavement. Even with the tree and carport resting on it, you could open and close all car doors and rear hatches as if it was new. It had to have some roof dents repaired and, of course, the roof rack was toast, but that is all. Wow!

I'm sure someone on here is willing to sell theirs. Good to see it didnt end up like this 100

I just pulled mine. It's off of a 2000 100 series. Let me know if you want it. The main rails look good, but the cross bars are a little tweaked. Let me know, they're yours free.

I have one off of a 2004 Land Cruiser. It's the newer style roof rack. I don't know how in the world I would ship that to you???

I'll take it! I've sent you an email.

I've seen the UPS Store wrap up some pretty amazing stuff. Let me know. If the rack from the 2000 L/C above doesn't fit, I'd like to get my hands on one from a 2004. PM me if interested.

well you could break it down into the two side rails and the two cross bars and put it in a tube-style box.

I had a 7 foot thule system shipped to me via UPS. You would disassemble it and package it like skis. Tape and brown paper, or create a box out of another.

You are very lucky to have such little damage to the vehicles. I hope everybody else was alright and you don't have a new skylight in your house!

No new skylights. Actually, the carport had a leak in it that I was gonna have to fix, I didn't like that pine tree anyway, and I was planning on resodding the front yard this summer. Tornado + insurance = problems solved. I've got a list of other home improvements for the next tornado that comes through.

Roof Rack

Greetings Guys!

As for shipping, if you were to break the pieces down into side rails and cross members, you could box them up. You can get a box from any sporting goods store that sells golf clubs. They will give them to you for free and the boxes are very sturdy.

Best regards,
Bill

I'd be interested in either rack ADSO does not use. I had similar storm damage when my kids trampoline became entangled in my rack during a recent storm.
