Torchstar LED lamps - one side did not light up (1 Viewer)

I ordered a set of Torchstar LED's for the 2001 LC, to replace the low beams. When I installed them, the DS worked fine, but the passenger side would not light up. Tested the bulbs by flipping them, and same result - sent them back to Torchstar, and thet say that both are working and there may be a compatibility issue with teh circuit, since these are 30W vs the standard at 55W.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

LED bulbs don't like being plugged in backwards. When I installed my interior LEDs, I just flipped the ones that didn't light up and they worked fine. Hope this helps.

Thanks, but on the low beam headlamps, I believe they can only go in one way? There is a locking tab.

I had the same problem, my connector wasn't fully plugged in even though it looked like it. I had to take the original connector and clean all the grime and dust that was in there. The headlights only plug in one way since they have the locking tab, I used a generous amount of electrical parts cleaner and a little dieletric grease after..........

Decided to go non LED's and ordered a set of Philips 9011 and 9012 HIR's instead.

Why did you revert back to Halogen?
