Top end rebuild on Ben Swains old 80

Bradass80 has Ben Swains old 80 for sale in the classified section. Brad mentioned that Ben had the top end rebuilt just before he purchased the rig but he was not aware of the specifics. Does anyone have information as to what work Ben had done during this top end rebuild?

Also, I am interested to hear from other that may be using the Garrett T3/T4 turbo on a 3FE.

I know the Safari system for the 1FZE uses a Garrett T4-E. Seems to be considered a pretty good unit but I'm not sure if the one on the 3FE is oil & coolant cooled or not. I was also told that the 1HD-T's use a C26 (which is what the Supra's came with I believe). These are all relatively small so should spool up pretty fast on these relatively large inline 6's. Which I guess should equate to very little turbo lag as you come off idle. But I'm no expert just muddling my way along like others. It's a very sweet truck though so if I were looking you could do a lot worse. Good luck.
