I let my 8000 lb. hand winch go with my Montero because it was worn and tired. (Hello! maybe I used it a lot?) It may not be a bad idea to get another one. A winch will pull foreward, but sometimes you need to pull a bit to the side. That come-a-long can be handy. The front winch can pull to the front, but sometimes all that is needed is to move a bit to the side and the truck takes off. The come-a-long can do that.
A logging chain is always in there, did I forget to mention that? Also shop rags and diaper wipes. They are both must-haves.
