Hehe.....I am a wordsmith by trade. I COULD have used another word but I thought I'd give someone an opening.
I used ice water followed by aloe vera gel to control the throbbing pain. That and some of Lynn's kick butt pain pills. Followed by application of a 5% lidocaine patch I wrapped my whole hand in. Add some Wild Turkey
internally and BAM...no pain.
Or, at least I didn't care.
It's healing nicely. Deck is finished and the new hot tub is now open for business. LOL...I showed that pressure washer who's da boss. Like getting thrown off a horse...ya just gotta get back in da saddle.
That sliver stuff is da bomb. I've seen it used before on really bad burns. Works like a charm.
Thing is I'd have to go to a Doc....I'm too cheap for that!
Had my palm been flat you could have read the warning and picture of a hand with a slash through it on my palm. As it is it's just the grate and nut in the heel of my palm.
Ohm....cruiser,cruiser,cruiser....Ohm ( I found the chant helped whilst holding me hand in the bucket of ice water)
