I have been kicking around the idea of starting a TLCA chapter for NW Ohio, SE/ central MI and NE Indiana. Have a few people from MI and a couple from OH that are interested and I'm just putting the feelers out to see if anyone else would want to join. I know that everyone has got their day to day life going on so I was leaning to a bi-monthly type schedule. If getting together with other LC owners sounds like fun just get ahold of me @olive (Troy) and let me know. This kind of undertaking will take some time and with the holidays right around the corner it will probably be closer to spring before this gets underway.

Thanks for your time,
Troy

Sorry I haven't checked this thread much. We have a tentative meeting in Michigan at the end of March if your interested in road trip. PM me with any questions.

What's the approx location in MI? I was down to drive a few hours to Cleveland but if it's too far into MI I'm not so sure just for a meeting. I might show up in my 25mpg Audi as opposed to my 12mpg cruiser. Haha

Chris, I recommended to Troy to keep the actual location open until we get a final head count of who can actually make it but I did suggest Ann Arbor, MI as preferable to Battle Creek, MI. Ann Arbor only added an average of approx 15-30 minutes for many and saved 1 hour plus for many others such as those in Toledo, Cleveland and Columbus areas. Btw, my son attends Ohio State currently and his daily driver is a 1990 FJ62.

Makes sense but head count might not be attainable until location is known.

Cool on the 62. What color is it? I'm not down in the campus area terribly often any more but I'll keep my eye out for it. I went to OSU myself and then worked at the hospital for 11 years.

I am saying a head count of people that the 3-25-16 works with their calendar, potential location aside. Then based on the head count of that group make a final decision on the meeting location.

Cool that you attended OSU as well. My son drives the white 62 in my avatar. He has a roof rack with the spare tire on top. The spare tire mount was cut to fix a gas tank leak, so that is the best option for the spare tire at this time. :)
