Because of scheduling conflicts with the BLM steering committee meetings, I have not been able to get on the conference call for a couple of months now. Yesterdays' meeting was fairly short, as there isn't as much going on. Highlights
Herb Peyerl was voted in as our new International Rep. We actually have groups in Europe that want to join!
Approximately 3300 members, 700+ of them thru the chapters. The renewal /retention rate from February til now was about double the normal amount. This is in large part attributable to a phone drive conducted by 5 members of the BOD to contact recent expireds. Personal contact still makes a difference.
NEW MEMBERSHIP DRIVE: sign up a new member, or get one that expired over 6 months ago to renew, and get $5 off your next years membership. Go to tlca.org for more info.
Appx 30k cash leftin the bank.
Jeff Z skipped over several reports, as the meeting was conducted for many by cellphone, with 7 BOD members on call from the campground at Cruise Moab!
