What a shame about the rust. That is a really good deal. Would you have made it LHD?

Maybe eventually lhd. A 60 lhd kit is pretty cheap/free.

I want to get something driveable for the winter, but between the rust, the RHD , the asinine 24v system, sketchy jdm bs and the hassle of flying up to PG , just too much crap to deal with.

I'd be fine with a moderately s***ty bj60 for the winter. I'd even consider a prado with a blown engine, I could still bang that 3b I have into it, tho it would howl something fierce with the 4speed unless I put 35's on it...

Yeah, I hear ya on all the hassle. 12HT would be so nice though... I dream of the day I can move to a DI turbo diesel engine.

Whats wrong with using your 40 as a winter rig...:flipoff2:

You should check into those parked Prado's in Duncan...could be very cheap. :grinpimp:

you'll have to remind me where you saw them....:bang:

I forget exactly where; we passed them on a wheeling trip 1.5 years ago. They may be gone now... Next time I'm up Duncan way I'll try to find them. They were either on Glenora Rd., or one of the roads we took to get onto Glenora Rd. I think Vern was leading that day; as I was following I did not pay exact attention to our route.

Other than the potential cost of towing this back over the $$$ ferries, looks like it is a good candidate for your 3B: http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/4571249188.html

Emailed them back when the ad popped up, never heard back.

Guy seems confused about how icbc works.

registration expired? wtf.

I'd be totally fine driving a 40 for winter, but every time I go to work on the one in my drive, just not feelin' it. :meh:

Sounds like a shifty situation/seller; too bad, as it seemed to be what you're looking for.

I was just bugging you about your 40...I know you're not 'feelin it', haha.

If someone buys that and wants to sell the '55 Ford box let me know.
