Well could have the 60/40 Bench seat in the front... So that would be three.. And long jump seats in the rear so two per jump seat.. So 7 but not canadians.. More like small people that make toyotas...

Gottcha. Would definitely be tight in there. Could throw kids in the back though I guess.

This means I can justify a 40 series as a family vehicle to my wife. :D  Time to start shopping.

Add beer!

That looks fairly rust free. Does anyone know who owns this?

Pretty sure I can see the spotwelds back aft...which means, it's a year of being parked outside away from needing a tub.

Also pretty sure, that one was for sale a while back for a more realistic price, and then the ad said it had been " appraised" and the price went up.

I believe we then speculated on the appraiser's drug of choice.

As for who owns it...I'm gonna guess, Gerhard. :flipoff2:

That's cause everyone hates the engines in these things (it's a Prado which is the light duty 70 which has the 2lte engine). That said, that is a REALLY nice truck. I like white on Landcruisers. Also that is manual transmission which is rare on these things. That is a huge bonus, as the auto sucks a lot of power, and creates extra heat on these rigs. Wish mine was manual. Even though a Prado, that is a very fair price. I want....

Try looking at the pics it is an auto 5sp. I looked at it twice to notice that.

What a misleading ******. And to top that off the auto's on these are 4 speed not 5. Thanks for the heads up on that lineman.

No timing belt cover either? Yeesh

I'd probably be interested too at that price...as much as I bitch about 80's, they come fairly close to doing everything I want. Could do without rhd, as it's nothing but a pain in the ass, but it shouldn't affect me as much now as it did in my old job.

I wonder how that works with them. They way they say "all offers presented to the bank" makes it sound almost like it'll be an auction with that 49xx just being the starting bid.

But, I have no time to look at it for a couple weeks, and that business of the timing cover missing is a little curious.

Meh. I keep looking at that ad for the butt-ugly old powerwagon pickup with the 6bt installed in it....SWMBO would HATE it...but it's just so gawddamn ugly it appeals to me on some perverse level.

I see they fixed the year on the ad now. Said 2001 yesterday.

Yeah, I was wondering how the pricing works for that thing too. They say OBO...but that could very well mean offers above the $5k mark too. If that rig was on the Island, I'd be looking at it for sure.

Haha, thats the first time I've seen the 'SWMBO' acronym. Had to look that up and laughed my a$$ off. :D
