I saw another red 40 for sale out in Yarrow. No price. Just a 'for sale' sign and parked off the road on the south side. Didn't look to bad as we crawled by it. I was following some guy in an gold coloured 81 towing a tandem axle Air Stream travel trailer. He turned off at the riverside camp ground between Yarrow and the turnoff to Cultas. It sure made the 81 look small.

Looks like some front tailgate action going on there too. Interesting mod.

also, someone went to some trouble trying to make the thing 'push aroundable'. Look at the size of that tire on the hitch stand.

Oh, it's not 2 1/2 ton either, it's a 3/4 ton trailer, dry weight of 1400 pounds. It was hauled around in the military by the deuce and a half.

Not a hard decision for most people that have had experience with old vehicles. But, I'd trade an FJ45 for that seller's shop any day.
