OK... So I have a set of 16s that came off of a Tundra and I am looking to get a set of Hardcore tires for winter wheeling, I run BFG ATs and they Gum up in the mud.... I have been looking to get some Swampers... 33's are what i'm looking for, Anyone have any Ideas or leads I should follow?

Thanks,
ND

Is your rig your daily driver? How wide do you want to go? % of road use vs wheeling?

Right now I'm running TrXus Mudders (35x12.5x15) and they do great in dirt, mud, snow, and on the road. I will be changing to TSL SX's (35x15x15) next time around as my rig isn't really going to get much road use. Its just a toy now.

i second the truxas mt my bro runs them, theyre great.

dark, my brother has a damn near brand new set of 35x15.50 sx for sale now. buy them.

I'm going to run the hardcore tires for the winter months, not year round. the rinm is stock so I would say its 7-7.5 wide so i can run a 9 in wide on it I believe...

you should be able to run a 12.50 on that rim.

otherwise look at the 33x10.50 bfg or the buckshot muds.

I've heard really poor reports about Swampers in snow. I know that G double loves his new tires and I've had pretty good luck with my TOYO's (but due to their weight I won't get them again).

just for the record IMO there is no good tire for snow and ice.

low psi and hope the hill slopes the right way.

when it comes to snow I think my BFG ATs are Awesome!!! The mud is where the suck! that why I'm looking for some agressive rubber that wont gum up in the mud....

Ahhh, my bad I thought you were looking for tires to run this winter in the snow... my bust.

ORLY? And what is he asking for this set?

Actually I've had really good luck with the TrXus Mudders in snow, can't say one way or the other for the more agressive tires though.

I can't argue with that. I had an 87 yota with a set of the BFG ATs and drove back and forth from KFalls all winter with Zero problems.

OK, So I hate to be a Dick butt..... You guys arnt getting me anywhere. Anyone have the HOOK UP on Swampers? I have found them on line at 4wheel parts the cheepest, just under 700 shipped however, I dont want to spend that... and havent found anyone in Medford who can or is willing to get some. Havent had any luck on Craigslist, they are usually wrong rim size....

AGAIN, I DONT want to buy new unless I have to.... TALK TO ME JSC!

If I have to buy I think that I have decided on a 34/10.50 Swamper LTB, I know that they are skinney However they are semi cheep....

P.S. I hate White Poeple!!

You might be in for a rough ride on them 34/10.5 swampers, aren't they bias ply? Sorry can't help you on the used market, I might be able to get River Town to match or beat any price you come up with on new ones though.

I don't think your being a Dick, the problem is around here no one is willing to stock and therefore get a good deal on swampers. I've been looking for years and have always ended up at 4wheelparts.com for my swamper needs. As far as the used market goes it is very hit and miss. Swampers arent for sale for long if they are a good price.

I had LTBs on my 84 yota, the did pretty good tearing things up but they don't last all that long and are terrible on the road (I know you already know that).
