I'll be ordering my second set of Wildpeak AT3s for the 4runner as I love them. The bang for the buck factor works for me.

Incidentally @2manycruisers, I have three Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT285 75 16, load E that I'd like to get rid of as they're too much tire for a 2500# trailer!! They have a lot of life left since they're hardly supporting any weight and I'd guess they were installed back in 2013 when the trailer was made. Not sure if this helps with anything but just throwing it out there!
Do you have an opinion on those Coopers? The AT3 XLT has really good reviews, maybe not as aggressive as Wildpeaks.

I don't really have much to say since they're not on a vehicle that I drive. Feel free to swing by one day for a beer and tire kicking if you'd like. Maybe give me a MTB riding lesson or something :)

Another AT3W here. 08 4runner in 285 70 17. I mistakenly got SL tires and kinda hate that but they're soooo good on the road. Spectacular in snow.

Next set of tires will likely be General Grabber ATX or I'll go 180 and get Cooper STT Pro.

I intentionally got P metric Wildpeak Falkens because of the road manners and lower cost. They have exceeded my expectations as their carcass is quite resilient to the abuse from Death Valley and the San Juan mountain trails. After four years, they're becoming louder and louder so I'd imagine sometimes this summer they'll be swapped out for another set. I'm currently at 5/32" tread depth on all five tires.

I'm at about 15k and just started noticing road noise this week. Very mild, but definitely there.

Update on the Falken Wildpeak tires: They are awesome in the snow and snow packed roads!

What's Pappy's excuse?

I'm going to give the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT a shot. Just need to find time to get to the tire shop. My local shop gave me a better deal than Discount without even asking, and since I hate Discount anyway, that's where I'm headed.
