Black out looks so much cleaner. The white letters are not symmetical looking and that KILLS me. I cringe every time I pass a car with the white out.
He's lying... FJ60's don't pass cars! :flipoff2: :D :flipoff2:

Nope. I still haven't fixed it. The weather's sposed to be good this weekend though. So maybe if I manage to dig up $20, I'll finally do it.

Hmmm, you got friends with a torch, a 30mm wrench, and muscles? That check valve is, uh, a little resistant to change, if you catch my drift. Apply lots of penetrant the day before, hit it with the torch a bit, and use two wrenches (one on valve, one on rail) otherwise you'll tear your rail to pieces. . . . Don't ask me how I know.

Heat worked best.

I'll second that, except for the heat. It's so humid where he lives, he's got gills. More arrid climes don't require the heat as much - didn't on mine, but I did have a butane torch handy just in case. Do soak it, and def. use two wrenches. You don't want to hurt that air rail.

When you go to put the new one on, get some of that anti sieze silver stinky stuff and put it on your threads. If you're lucky like I am (Irish) you'll get to take the stupid thing off again in a few months for one reason or another.
