Sorry if I am duplicating this question.

I have been searching the forums and I am understanding 275/65 18s will fit with stock wheels...but I might need to remove a bolt in the front wheel well. I might also need to take a heat gun to the plastic molding.

Is anyone running this size of tire with stock wheels? If so what is your experience...and are the e rated tires noticeably harsher on the road?

Can't speak to the tire sizing question but can to the load rating question.

My $0.02 is E rated tires are harsh enough that they're not worth it unless you use your rig in scenarios where the compromise of ride for puncture resistance or towing ratings is a specific need. I've run passenger rated tires on my Tacoma (not advised to offroad and towing, which I did do mildly) but almost always I try to stick to a C load range tire, which is slim pickins though.

Lot's of times, if you're interested in a specific size or tire, you'll be limited to a E load range. Like many things, it's all a compromise. Fortunately, I think the GX is heavy enough that the E load rated (not pumped up to 50+ PSI when not towing) are probably not as harsh as most lighter rigs that run them.

Thanks for your feedback.

I think I will try to find an alternative to the e rated tires.

I ran E rated KO2s on my 100 with the OME lift. That was to harsh at times for me...so I dont want that experience again. I am sure the suspension combo did not help though.
