I searched the forums and did not find anything so forgive me if this is a dead horse beating. Anyhoo, I am running out space in the garage and wanted to know how you guys store extra wheels/tires if you do snow tire swaps. So, any pics? Recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have any pictures handy, but I just built some rectangular frames from 1" angle iron, screwed them into studs, and added 45 degree braces on the top (also screwed to studs). I have them mounted as high up on my garage wall as possible.

Not a great photo, but you can mostly see what I did.

That’s the best way to get them off the floor. Better yet if you have garage attic access. A rope and pulley in the attic can help the awkwardness of getting them up there.

This winter I’m building a few racks on the ceiling foe the 40 hardtop and the RTT when not in use. Might splurge for a little winch too. I’m getting too old for holding things above my head.

A pulley at the minimum.
I am fortunate and have a fairly large 2 car garage with a small workshop and storage. I put them on top of my cabinets. The attic is a great idea. That would free up more space. Thanks,
