Tire Size for FJ62 (1 Viewer)

Hey All - Just picked up an 88 FJ62 and want to put on some new tires. I was thinking of BFG All Terrains. What size is recommended? The truck is all stock. Any pics with sizes would be really helpful.

Here is the same size with the non heavy OME lift "B" springs. In case you do this later , this size will still look appropriate in my opinion.

Are your BFGs pretty quite on the hwy? How do they ride? I'm in the market as well

Yes they are quiet and ride great in the KO 2

Yeah stock height and up to like a 2.5" lift the 31s look appropriate and good. Past that you should look at 33s. But if you are running stock rims be advised there are some shops that will not put tires on the stock rim, 15x6, due to the fact that most manufacturers recommend at least a 7" or 8" wide rim for anything at 31x10.5 or larger. Something I know that a few have run into but I was able to personally get them installed.

Still loving my Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx in 31x10.5x15 and to me they have little to no hum on the highway and still exhibit great road manners in wet, dry, icy and snow.
