My tire is only about 2 months old, 2 weeks ago I had a screw puncture on the shoulder part.

I had it patched.

So far, its not losing any air.

What do you guys think. Cause i've read some articles that tire shoulder puncture are not repairable?

You should be good. IF the tire shop that patched it doesn't care, I wouldn't worry about it. As mentioned above, it's in the tread and not the sidewall.....

The Firestone tire shop near me has a diagram like this in the waiting area. I’m surprised your shop made that repair in the shoulder. Some shops extend the no-repair zone over to the first groove.

I have been in the tire business my whole life. That’s not a repairable area. If you had a professional repair it they shouldn’t have. The should of the tire will flex and the patch will come off. There is too much flex in the shoulder. I would go get a new tire. In Virginia that would fail state inspection.

I have had my Sienna tire repair on the shoulder and I drove it til it bald and replace them 3 weeks ago. It did not leak any air. Initially brought it to Discount tire and they refuse to repair it because it is on the shoulder, so I brought it another small tire store and they said no guarantee but if I insist they will give it a shot and it work.
