my experience with BFG ATs is they last forever and handle like crap in the rain. Hands down my favorite AT is the Toyo open country. Jim had those out in Moab and they did real well but didn't compare to the Trxus off road.

I guess you are left with 2 choices. Toyo or Bfg.
Thornbirds... FTW!
i think that a good choice,After all this and reading a million reviews I think you're right. I'm leaning more towards the Toyo's over the BFG due to their lack of performance in the rain.

Ya i wouldnt believe all that you read.I had read that KM2s have poor traction in wet conditions on tarmac but, surprisingly, I have not experienced it, at all.
I bought them used with about 75% tread on them, I had a summer trip down to Rausch and a summer trip to VA and a summers worth of wheeling on them and I haven't noticed any significant wear.Bob did your set of Trxus wear fast or get chunked up the rocks?
Speaking on tires Scott are you just going to use the Duratracks on the 40 or going with something else?
Duratracs are going to be my winter/daily tires and new krawlers for wheeling. I am not keeping the 40. I just wanted the wheels and tires off of it. The 40 will be going to a good home in a couple weeks.
