Anyone know a tire shop that offers tire shaving?

Picked up a big screw within the outer inch of my Duratracs and sounded like it may not be repairable. The set probably has about 40k miles on it, they are wearing well, and I got 80k out of my last set so not wanting to replace all of them yet.

33s. Worn down to about 60%ish
I have a set of BFGs that were on my Xterra they are in great condition, a lot of tread left. I picked a nail each in two of them the last time I was at Hidden Falls. Discount Tire repaired them, but I used it as an excuse to buy some 255/85s.

The BFFs are 265/75-16. You’re welcome to them if you want some tires to get you by for a while.

Thanks @DrDuc the set are 275 70 18s.
More me being cheap and stubborn than anything. The age of the tires is the problem more than anything, I just don’t put down the miles like I used to.

Adam did you replace the one tire? Sorry, trying to understand the need to shave.

So what had happened was… when I picked up my 100 about 10 years ago I bought a set of 5 tires and only rotated the 4, leaving spare on the rear. After 4 years and about 80k miles I had to get a new set to bought 3, put my “new” spare in use and kept the best of the worn out tires as a spare.

Now I’ve got a set of tires that still have about 30k miles left on them but my lone 10 year old tire has caught a screw that can’t be patched so I’m wanting to pick up a single new or used duratrac and shave it so I don’t end up mismatched or buying a whole new set.

I just don’t drive nearly as much as I used to
