Looking to put my tires and wheels from my 40 onto my Taco and then put my tires from the Taco onto stock steelies. Any idea if I can get this done for less than $20 a wheel in Des Moines?

Thanks!

Try costco. I just took off my 285's so I could sell them and I brought in the 315's I bought off the bay. They only charged me 10 bucks total for each tire including mounting, balancing, new valve stems, and nitrogen. They used the good clamp on weights instead of the stickies. Good thing because it took upwards of 7 oz of lead to balance one of the 5. (factory blems)
$53.00 total for 5 tires.

Wally world also has competitive pricing but they sometimes use the stickie weights.

I forgot to mention that costco uses stickie weights too, but I requested the clam on kind only. I know a few of us have memberships if you don't. Let me know, either me or the wife could prolly swing out there with you to git er done.

I assume they are 16" wheels? 15"'s won't fit on a taco. The caliper's are too big. FYI I would also say Flatt tire.

They are 16" wheels, but my 99 taco came with 15" wheels stock, so I was stripping the tires off those alum wheels to put on steelies for my 40.

I was able to get it done and it looks great. I'll post up some pics when I get a chance.

Thanks for your help!
