I am in the market for 285/70r/17's and I have been looking around many tires and came across some TreadWrights. i was curious to see if anyone had any experience with this company and if i should pull the trigger on their MT's or save up for a name brand. their price ($153) each cannot be beaten and i have heard mostly good things but wanted to post on here where all the Veterans are at haha

There's a couple of folks in the 80 section that have had some nasty blowouts on them (one roll over), but some others swear by them. On a DD I wouldn't do it.

Agreed, I would not compromise on tires. Last thing you want is a blowout in the middle of nowhere or at night...or a rollover...
