Took the valve cover of to adjust the valves and leaking VC gasket and found that my timing gear cover is leaking oil. I figure that while I have it apart, I might as well change the Timing cover gasket as well and have a couple of questions. Also going to put in a new oil seal and the coolant hose at the top of the timing cover (seems like a pain) while I am in there...

The motor has 192K on it and runs great, does not burn oil and compression is good. Also going to do the oil pan gasket.

1. Do I need any sealant beside the Timing gasket to do the job?

2. Do I need to worry about the oil squirter if I am only replacing the cover gasket?

On another note, I found that all the intake valves were perfect, but the exhaust's were all way tight, until I discovered they were adjusted to the same spec as the intake by the PO....what a goob....

Scary part was the thing still ran really well.....

Can anyone recommend a good paint guy in Dallas? I have no rust but the paint is faded bad in a couple of places and I have to get some dings out. Want to have someone shoot it in factory colors....
