I’m seriously considering buying a used 200 series and wanted to get a rundown of when active safety features became available. I know they’re not a substitute for good driving, but with my family in the car, it’s nice to know they’re also keeping watch.

I’m wondering when the following became available and if they were optional or standard:

blind spot monitoring
360 cameras
Active cruise control
Lane keep assist
Collision mitigating braking
Cross traffic avoidance

360 cameras - 2013+ (corrected, thanks!)
Collision mitigating braking - 2013+
All others 2016+

13+ gets most of the modern stuff, 16+ has the latest gen safety stuff and 2018+ added automatic lift gate.

I read somewhere that radar cruise improve in smoothness in 2016.
It got better in 2016 but it's still not as good as some of the other manufacturers out there.

2008-2011 cruisers only have rear camera and parking sensors.

No front or side cameras, no blind spot monitoring, no radar cruiser. Pretty much the last cruisers where it’s all up to the drive.

For @hammerfang, not the years that you would want to gravitate toward. Get a 2016+ if you want the most driver aids.

I believe adjustable in 1 MPH increments vs 5 MPH increments previously. I enjoy using the radar cruise on the highway but 5 MPH is too course IMO.

I'm curious as to whether these safety systems have held up since they were introduced to the 200 series, anyone have input on that? Thank you!
