Just got this email from Oregon Department of Forestry:

Effective, 08/17/10 (Tuesday), the OHV trails in the Tillamook State Forest will be TEMPORARILY CLOSED due to high fire danger until further notice.

OHV activity in the Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, and Trask OHV Areas will be limited to operation on maintained forest roads only.


I know that this doesn't effect you guys too much, but I figured I should let ya know!

Hopefully it will be back open next weekend. It all depends on the weather. I really can't imagine it would still be closed by CTW... That would be the longest closure ever! I'm more concerned about the newbie / stocker run we have planned on the 29th!

How about the coastal dunes? A little more central to everyone. Not a lot of technical wheeling to be learned though.

TSF is back open... Apparently they just wanted the temps to go down a bit. Go figure.
