Re: dinner on Thursday. Last month, the dinner service at Earl's Landsdown was too slow and many people had to come quite late to the meeting. Also, it was more expensive than usual. I am in favour of going back to ABC again unless some of you want to try Legends pub, wherever that is.

Argh...looks like I'm working the 1430-2230 shift again on Thursday, so I won't be able to make the Club meeting. Bugger!

Stone if you are not going to be there, mabey you could give us an update if there is anything new with the Cruiser Show, THat way a few of us could let the others know whats happening, otherwise everyones going to be picking dates and everything again.

Great idea, Jim:

I'll try and give you a call tonight...otherwise here's what we need to work on.

-Date set for August 13, 2005. This is the best day for me.

-I'm awaiting the quote from the insurance company, but I am told that it will be quite reasonable. I've called around a little and this is the lowest rate I can find (about $100 cheaper than the others and from a reputable company).

-We need to get going on the t-shirts that Deny has designed. Could you guys possibly finalize that?

-I need to contact a charitable organization that would take care of a consession stand again.

-I need to contact Surrey School board to book the parking lot at NSSS.

-I need to email the different local vendors and see who's interesting in showing up.

-I've talked to Steve on the phone about the Club fronting the money for the event. Maybe you guys can also discuss this at the meeting?

I'll be busy again this week, but I imagine that most of these will make headway by the time this week is up. Cheers.

It did impact into the meeting, (though I did leave right after dinner). I am not stuck on Earls, and never really had a problem with the ABC either. What about trying the Pantry again?

Barry: I'm not sure, it may be shorter through Whistler, Duffy L Rd, Lillooet. I've never been up the Duffy L. Rd and would like to see it as potential for future wheel'n in that area. We could return via the canyon I guess.
~Bill

Greg: It looks right now that you, me, and Gar want ABC whereas Steve and Rod want Earl's. Stay tuned! Rob probably prefers Earl's because he knows the server.

Greg, I left a phone message re a 15" x 6" Toyota steel wheel with 8 holes punched in it. If you have one off one of those parted out BJ74s, could you bring it to the meeting? Thanks,
~Bill

So, sounds like we're back at ABC...correct?

gb

ABC!!
just get everyone to the same place

So, What happened at the meeting?

I won first prize (mini parts washer), May long not going to be at big bar but very close. Criuser show is a go on August 13, same place as in previous years, T-shrts are a go ( Gar convinced everyone to get rid of the year on the Tshrst so wee can use them next year if ther is left overs).

Jim

If Gar is so smart, what is going to replace the 2005 rock? The 2005 Rock was cool, because it had a purpose to be there, I guess a normal rock would be good enough, but it won't be as cool. Make sure there is atleast a rock or a Honda there, cause it would look stupid with the tire in the air, flexing on nothing.
Cheers,
Deny
