i did a 350 swap a while back and used a random throttle cable laying around the shop. i recently put the holley projection system on and now have problems with the throttle cable that once worked. i need a cable that pulls and mine pushes. i routed the old cable so that this one would work...but it binds and causes the throttle to stick. for all i know a stock 60 cable may work...anyone know what cable would be best for my setup? thanks in advance.

We have used stock GM ones from suburbans or pickups which can be bought at any parts store. They work fine, but I wanted to try the one Downey Off Road offered, made specifically for the 60 DOWNEY, it's under the carb section.

1977 Cadilac ElDorado throtle cable was perfect for my Chevy TPI engine.

I used Lokar's pedal & cable to the stock bracket on a 5.7 Vortec. Plenty of adjustment, but it might be too close to the firewall if you're keeping the manual trans.

I wanted legroom & got it.
