Sorry if this has been discussed before, I couldn’t find it. I just ordered a new throttle cable to replace the trashed one that was previously on our 89 Pickup with a 22re. The old one laid across the valve cover and egr and the insulation is shot.
My question is, before I put this new cable on, was there a bracket that Toyota made in other markets or for 22re’s to keep the throttle cable off the valve cover? We just got one for our 80 like this fella did in post #101, and it works great. Thought I’d ask beforehand. Thanks in advance!
