OK so I want to install a 12 circuit fuse box in the 100. I have read many threads on where people have mounted them (in the cargo are, custom brackets in engine bay, passenger kick panel, on top of existing fuse box) but I have not seen anyone put it here (see pic #1) and was wondering why. Initially, I thought that rain water may get in and checked location after a heavy rain and it was dry. I may replace the rubber seal just to be on the safe side if this is where I would put it. There is also an indent in the hood here so I don"t believe wires touching the hood would occur. If need be I could make a rubber flap as well for extra protection.
Also I was going to add this blue sea 100a circuit breaker on drivers fender parallel to brake reservoir. (Pic #2)
Any thoughts on this install would be appreciated. I have already looked at wire but want to get location of box figured out before I purchase any.
