Thoughts on this 200k mile LX 570?

I bought my 2008 LC with 193,000 miles two years ago. I would have never thought I'd buy a used car with nearly 200K on the odometer but... now at almost 230K it's not been an issue and drives like a new vehicle. The issue noted wouldn't scare me. I'm not sure about how a cat can fail but even that isn't a catastrophic item to change and isn't terribly involved. That code can point to an exhaust leak or simply a faulty O2 sensor so would check those issue as well.

I've not doubted my purchase at all... these vehicles are just solid.

Oh definitely. I'm not too worried about the mileage. It's just hard for me to justify going from an older vehicle (2002) with less miles (117k) to a newer vehicle (2009) with more miles (200k).

And it's a tough decision to give up the G-wagon that I've had for three years. It's just getting to the point of diminishing returns where there are minor things that keep popping up, so like how much more money do I want to continue to spend on it? Not saying that a 200k mile LX 570 won't need a few things, but at least I'd be able to pocket some of the money from selling the G.
