I am about to replace my rod ends on my FJ-60 and I was thinking about buying MAF's kit since it is so economical. Is there any reason why it is so cheap? Does it lack the quality of OEM? Anyone have bad experiences with them?

Have had mine on (MAF's) for about 3 yrs now and I haven't had any probs yet, I do mainly road driving and light wheeling. Don't know about the quality over OEM or who makes them, but some one should have some insight on that eventually.

I bought the same ones from MAF myself. Haven't had any problems with them but I've only had them for a few months. Right after I got em I noticed cruiseroutfitters has the same ones $30 cheaper. If you're concerned about straying from OEM, check out cruiserparts- they have some made by Toyota's subcontractor for a few bucks more than the 777 brand.

Thanks for the information. I just wanted to hear that nobody had any problems with them.

Go with Cruiser Outfitters. Better price and better service.
