Thoughts on locking lugs

Are folks running locking lug nuts? Went to rotate tires this weekend only to find my lug but key was missing. I got everything sorted out, but would have been SOL on the trail. I only park in my driveway and at my office. Am I being naive? I’m either going to order two more as backups or swap them for standard.

I’m also considering having Toyota disable my auto locking doors. I hate being on trail rides and constantly having to fumble with my key. Anyone else done that with a newer Yota?

I got rid of my locking lug nuts. I didn't want to deal with losing a key too!

I got rid of mine, too. If some one wants them that bad, they will just break a stud to get them.
I had to deal with them all the time when I was turning wrenches, had a 12 point socket that I would beat on, then hit it with an impact to get them off.

LOTS of lug nuts on my vehicles... None of them are the locking kind. Besides, I have cheap stock wheels all the way around.
