Thought I Saw A List
I may be dreaming but .. I thought I saw a list of headlights that would work in the LJ78 1990 Prado on here. Maybe it was for something else.
Did the search thing and came up empty.
Anyone got the info.. Just want to get the right size.

Thanks

Not 100% for the Prado, but for my Surf and Liteace that had rectangular headlights, the Hella H4 kit sold at Cdn Tire fit perfectly (its either 92mm or else 200mm and cost $92...can't remember...they only sell the one size anyway so you can't miss). I would assume the Prado should be the same size.

I always get a kick out the ole phase "assume" When it's said, assume makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me".......

Too funny? Nah......

What you talking about Willis? You want to take it outside!!! ;p

You are right though I should have said that I guarantee* they fit!

*guarantee valid only in Samoa, Chechnya and Saskachewan

I just took the old one out in the Cdn Tire parking lot, and brought it into the store with me. Taking the grille off is kind of a pain, but at least I knew I was getting the right thing.

I ditched the H4s and went with the cheapo model, mostly because I had no $$. If you do that, you'll find that the stock mud boots don't fit anymore. I've had water over my hood a couple times since, and it didn't seem to harm anything.

By mud boots, you mean the rubber cup that slids over the connection?

If so , not needed. Little cuppy things tend to hold moisture and water too. Then they need a small drain.
