Needless to say I'm very impress with the camaraderie around this community and if I'm going to give me money to somebody may as well be somebody I like (people like) I'm not even looking for a discount hey need to make a living too..

For now I just need little gaskets and washer but I sure in the future I will need bigger OEM supplies..

Cruiser head thru and thru...

Also beyond knowledgeable about parts & numbers associated.

Totally- he one of finest friends/ parts guy in our little world....
Not to mention he drives all over attending events and participating.

Good luck!

I sent an order for filters yesterday and got pinged back that he requires $100 minimum order for parts. So, add some stuff to your washers and gaskets to make it up to $100 if they don't cost that much already.

yeah I got the same response, totally understandable if you are over qualified for such a simple task of ordering silly parts..

i just order the stuff from amazon, actually not the stupid plastic T's, for that I need to find a place to get them, I'm allergic to dealerships for some reason..

I'm not sure if they are active on the forum, but Camelback Toyota has *decent* prices on their parts website. For what it's worth, they shipped some free swag to be given away at the Hundreds in the Hills event recently. If I were ordering online I would certainly take that into account.

I get very good wholesale pricing at my local dealership with no shipping for in stock parts, no shipping if I can wait 3-4 days. I pay 5% of the parts sale price for overnight shipping. That, for me, is a deal that really can't be beaten by anyone online.

Personally I prefer to patronize people that make a difference in the community even if I need to pay full retail.

But that is just me..

I just did this today, go to your hardware store and buy two of these and six 3/8" worn clamps.

Cost me $10 and took forever to do the actual job as I couldn't get the spring clamps off of the old hoses.
I am very pleased wit the results.

The "T" is 3/4", all sides.

Not all worm clamps are created equal. Some have sharp edges that can actually cut the hose. I have used ABA clamps in the past with success. I actually like those crazy ones from Toyota as well.
@Spike555 a heat gun works well to get those old hoses and clamps off.

Motorcycle suppliers (BMW/KTM bike suppliers) have some that are about 6mm wide and of a much higher quality and finish..

I just need to get some new ones..

The whole electrolysis argument got me kind of scare of brass and sadly making them out of stainless will end up been a pain in the bumbum do to the "Hose Retainer" shape at the very end of the T's..

Plus after you insert one of those Barb's they are not coming out unless to cut (ergo replace) the whole hose..

I was one of the ones pointing out the electrolysis. I don't believe that it will happen at a rate fast enough to really *truly* damage anything.

I simply wanted to point out that, even on a very minuscule scale, it is happening with copper and aluminum connected via the coolant system.

I still; however, stand by my statement that since we know these Ts have a life span and they're so cheap I prefer to just change them at regular intervals, and keep a spare set on hand.

These brass fittings are treated with something to prevent the electrolysis stuff from happening.
As for the barbed ends...the whole point was to never have to replace them ever again.
Getting the hoses off was easy, it was getting the spring clamps off that was the PIA, only because I do not have the proper tool for them.

Thanks for the tip. Do you know the manufacture name of them?
Is there an online supplier or just buy from a dealer.
I'm always looking for better options.

I don't even remember but I find out today (I just have a bunch from 15 years ago), they even have a hose clamp so flexible (Stainless) that can go around 10mm hose OD, we used the for the fuel pump connectors..

First link..

The ones I used to get/have where "Hose clamps" that you cut to length, I like this ones much better but I'm afraid the hose clamp diameter is to small

Search

I keep looking, Motorcycle have a bunch of the really cool little fasteners and supplies..

Maybe easier and looks like they have more sizes.
