This past weekend i joined the Magic City 4x4 for a night run event just out side of Billings. Lots of jeeps, a geo tracker, a samurai, no land cruisers, 2 fjc's and a few pic up trucks. No pictures unfortunately but it was fun and hair raising. I'll post pictures when I find others who post them up. The event was/ is held on private property that the owner opened up to the off roading community. The owner said in his speach it has everything from bone stock ford explorer all the way up to things rock crawling buggies can't beat. He wasn't lieing about the biggie obsticals but from the older couple I camped next to sounded like their "easy" trail run category was as hair raising as the Moderate trail run I did. The run I did was fun, lots of off camber pucker factor moments and felt like I would have rolled 2or 4times. Watching the lifted wranglers and buggies going up and down crazy stuff was fun to watch. They had a great BBQ and raffle. 2winches were the two big ticket items up for grabs. I won 2 thick weld on shackle tabs and there were 2pairs available
. I'm moving in December so I thought I would post this event up. Over all I had a good time and recommend checking it out next year. It would be awesome to see a Land Cruiser invasion! Its a small area so lots of rigs and trail congestion was expected. Only gripe I had was the trail leaders should have mapped out and preran the trail for the easy and moderate groups because both group leaders got the us lost
