Would have thought a business would wait until they had possession of the truck, then use their own pictures. Amazing.
I actually did that once but the truck was coming from AU before anyone knew about trucks down there. Guilty.
He was actually very pleasant to deal with. I understand about the pricing though. I'm sure they sell for much less than what's listed. people always try to chisel you down to nothing when it comes to cruisers.

I hole heartily disagree with this statement.
You did your research on a mustang and got burned. This guy is not much different. I have met people that sold him trucks that he patched together and sold. Eh, I will shut up now.
I guess I should clarify a bit and I think deserve might have been a bit of a strong word....I put Vintage Off Road in the same Dept as Copley Motorcars in Boston. Sure they have plenty of great cars and trucks but if you do a bit of homework you'll find something just as good for half the price. Either way Ive been able to sleep at night with every deal I've ever done so there are very different buyers and sellers out there.
The mustang things was a flat-out scam so I thought I was getting a great deal. I shopped prices and types. I specifically bought it cuz it wasn't numbers matching so I could pay less for something cool. When I saw it was held together with sheet metal screws I knew I was getting duped. I wouldn't put Vintage in that category.
