*updated price and condition*
1972 FJ-55 for sale in NC
this pig is a wheeler only; no resto here
I bought her about a year and a half ago and have continued to add to the previous tinkerings. Super fun and not forced to part but been putting more time and money into the 80 and got a change of directions in mind.
The good:
SOA
3" BL
Scout PS conversion (super frame reinforcement in place)
IPOR sliders welded into rockers
IPOR front bumper and rear bumper w/ swingout
New 35'' mud dawgs w/ dynabeads
NEW clutch w/ all assoc parts, turned the flywheel as well
Just rebuilt carb (need to readjust float) but all jets were spot on
replacement floorboards
welded rear/open front
76 front axle w/ discs
74? 4spd transmission w/ 3spd case (lower gearing)
135 amp GM ambulance alternator
EVERY SINGLE FLUID replaced including brake flush in last 6 mos.
The really good
power window still works
power seats
available w/ or w/out the redneck snorkle
the bad:
door hinges need to be rebuilt
a bit o' bondo
PS leaks after install
rust at bottom of front fenders and rear 1/4s
NEEDS MOTOR WORK OR REPLACEMENT
She wheels great and gets thumbs up and stares everywhere you go. Drive to the local trail and hour away and back w/ confidence. Furthest drive to wheel pushed 6hrs.... prolly wouldnt do it again though. Ill update w/ better pics when i get back in town.
I know broke vehicles dont sell well and ive never been overly eager to part with, but 2000 gets it if someone wants it before I put a 2F in it and keep on
thanks for looking

(noise is present in vid)
and this is probably the best and most current collection of pics

(the black and white, not so nice as Juices' olive/white piggy
)
and she is also a calender girl (onsc)
