This is my first Landcruiser!

Well I bit the bullet and after a long time of waiting I bought my first Landcruiser.
She's a 92' HZJ-73 ZX and came over from Japan in 08. She is pretty stock so far but other than a small issue in the first two weeks where the starter locked on and fried one of the batteries I am very fond of her. 163,000km and I hope many more to come. This is my first like I said so any info or suggestions are welcome.

Ahh, I thought I recognized that cruiser. I saw it on Kijiji or Craigslist a little while ago. Was a good price for such a nice truck. You came to the right place here on mud. There is lots to read and learn.

Nice cruiser,the 1HZ suits the weight of those very well. It looks low/no rust,keeping it that way should be your number one priority.

Cant say Im a fan of the JDM bumper though

Good truck, great condition. Keep the road salt washed out of the wheel wells and underneath and it will last 'forever'.

If you put Toyota 16" steel wheels on it, then you can use the highway power of that engine. It's a 10% overdrive with 235-85 or 265-75 R16s. With 16" tyres there's also a big selection and price range.

Put a 'Roo-Bar' and lights on that bumper and it won't look like a front porch.
