Thinking of buying an 01 Sequoia (1 Viewer)

The for sale ad looks promising and has lots of details. It's already semi modded (lifted rims, tires rear locker etc)

My concern is it has over 300k & has a 170k transmission installed late last year & that it's ABS is disabled.

The ad says the timing belt and all associated maintenance was done recently, how does one validate that if there is no receipt?

It also says the tailgate exterior handle is broken and has been fixed repeatedly. Is there a permanent fix?

There'll be a sticker under the hood with miles and date for TB. If no sticker and no paperwork assume it hasn't been done.
Transmission isn't terrible those have been known to be a weak spot.
See if you can't find out why ABS was disabled.
I think there is a metal tailgate handle you can buy, not sure tho.
