I’m in the midst of a radiator and thermostat removal on a 2011 lx570 but I suspect I may have ordered the wrong part for the thermostat.
I’ve looked around online but am having trouble confirming the part number.

Would anyone happen to know if the thermostat/gasowt is referred to as a “water inlet housing”/“water inlet gasket” and carry the part numbers
Water inlet housing: 16323-0S010
whater inlet Gasket: 16325-38010

And any tips for removal/install?

Toyota calls the thermostat assembly “water inlet subassembly w/ thermostat”
The original number is 16031-38010 but it has been superseded by 16031-0S010.

You seem to have the part that the thermostat bolts to.

I see. It may be the case that Toyota doesn’t sell JUST the thermostat? Instead making you buy the whole assembly?

Would anyone else happen to have advice on whether I can just replace the thermostat with the new one from the assembly that delivers?

Here’s a video I found of a thermostat replacement.

Nvm, the actual thermostat I wanted seems to be part number
16031-38010

I googled a bunch and kept coming back with that entire inlet housing part I originally mentioned.

Edit: dealer parts guy says the inlet housing (that has a thermostat integrated into it) part number supersedes the thermostat part number…and some Toyota websites have just thermostat while others only have full assembly…you can also buy just the thermostat, branded aisen which is often an oem parts producer for Toyota, as just the thermostat as well.

The thermostat alone is around 30 dollars, full inlet assembly including thermostat is like 60-80.
