Thermostat for VM588 (1 Viewer)

I am trying to find a thermostat for my BJ73 with VM588 5 cyl diesel.
Spector could not help.
Googled a lot with no luck
tried Detroit Diesel in Florida (VM parts USA) and they did not list 588.
Anyone know of a parts source for USA.

I doubt you’ll find one in the US, though you could try Land Rover specialty places, as I believe some LR’s used various VM engines. My first port of call would be eBay with location set somewhere in Europe.

I have searched ebay with no sure fit. The Land Rovers I found all use the 4cyl. Eng. I have been searching alfa romeo that also uses the 588.
