It says it will "effectively" heat half a liter of water in 4 min. My jetboil does this in 2 min for half the price and can be used as a camp stove ect for half the price. Cool tech but I think the jetboil wins.

I agree that a jetboil wins.

However, I imagine the tech will get better and cheaper at some point. I can see a quicker setup time with this than a jetboil, as well as the ability to use it while driving (truckers being an intended market). With a jetboil, I think it's recommended you at least pull over before firing it up.

There's a .5 cft microwave called a half pint. It's a perfect size for camping and works well with an inverter.
