I come back to Texas for dang near the first time in a month and a half, and this is the crap I find going on?

I better go back to either one of the coasts and pick up a different accent. Hell, even an overly expressive lisp would even be better than being mistaken for someone involved with this place. f2

Josh and Fro got the PS pump mounted, and the freebie Power brake booster and MC on and bled........
Ignition and starter buttons on a wired........
Found a driveshaft for the rear in my pile that worked ...... bolted it in.....
F'n Mr Gasket electric fuel pump #3 crapped out or we would have driven it.........

I know, we are gonna try a NAPA, and if it don't work, we are mounting the fuel tank to the cage and let gravity do it..... :confused: :eek:

No one-uppmanship intended here, just a very sincere effort on our part to build the best rig, for a good guy, with the least $$$$ as we can.....we were tallying today and think we will come in under 4K....... :D :grinpimp:
 
Laid eyes on 'er for the first time in 'bout a month .... still looks like hell. :D

With just enuff smoke to kill off the skeeters. :grinpimp:

Got a week to go to fab the rollcage, bolt in the seats and slap a little sheetmetal back on 'er. :)

Ramble .... here we come. :cool:

She mite Mace the first trail, but looks like she'll least get off the trailer on 'er own. :flipoff2:

Me and Fro done worked on puttin' the front of the engine together today. Got the battery mounted, alternator installed, belts on, fan on and radiator in. 'Bout a done deal under the hood .... 'cept it ain't got no hood. Which brings us to tomorrow. Gonna bolt on all the sheetmetal on the front end and mount the bezel upside down.

Forgot my damn camera at the Ranch today but already put 'er in the truck so can get some pics tom. :D

Me and Fro wrapped up the engine today with the radiator hoses and plumbed in a power steering cooler. If'n ya look close at the pics ya'll will see many signs of White Trash Beater Engineerin'. :grinpimp:

Kept goin' and bolted on some sheetmetal. Ain't a damn thang that lines up .... looks like hell .... and we friggin' love it. :bounce: :bounce:

Josh done put an exhaust sytem on 'er and built up some sorta brace deal that he welded in. Tried to explain to me that it's got somethin' to due with them little axles and leaf springs. :D
