Is it possible to confirm that the HVAC/heater Blower Motor (Part Number: 87103-60140) is discontinued and none available anywhere? I tried ordering it from a local dealer and was told that’s the case.

Any info on the interior front carpet; PN 585106A190E0? I placed an online order this morning with a local dealer only to be told it was no longer available and my order canceled. Now, my order was only canceled after the dealer emailed for VIN verification and I told them it was for my LX. The Lexus PN (585106B260E0) is actually discontinued, but from what I can find, the LC PN is still available. Any insight?

That's what I'm finding as well. There's nothing online that leads me to believe it's discontinued, just the email from the dealer. I have a feeling they canceled my order because it was for my LX and not an LC. Not sure why that would matter to them other than they said it was a non-returnable item when they asked for my VIN. I would have liked to have kept my money local, but I've ordered from another dealer now. We'll see what they say.

That said, 0 in the US, 1 in transit from the Mothership, and 1 on backorder (the one in transit will fulfill the BO).

Just go to a dealership and talk to real human don’t give them a VIN.

Show them the documentation I just posted.

If the windshield was discontinued, the “Status Code” line would indicate “D” for discontinued.

The line is blank meaning it’s still a live part. The depot details also indicate availability.

So i spoke with 2 different dealerships and its a no-go on the windshield. They just told me that it cant be ordered, period (even after i shower them the screenshot). Maybe it's a Canadian thing.. i dont know.. Bummer, as i cant even drive down to US to buy one there due to Covid border closure.



On as side note, if someone needs the discontinued backing plate - 46503-60081 - i got one that i dont really need and will part with it at at dealer MSRP.

Bottom line on 80 stuff is that it's a loosing battle. Only to to get ahead of the curve is to have a knowledgeable part specialist to assist ya. But time and knowledge isn't fee. If the actual 20 of us on here that give a $hit and will actually all buy parts chip in for a small monthly donation, for the info I'm sure one our our gurus is willing to assist. After more than a decade on mud they deserve a little compensation for their time. Just my opinion, then again I'm just a crazy guy with an overpriced 80 series lol.

I agree- even if someone had some vacant space and can store rigs and part out/catalogue some of these parts (albeit, in good condition) we can prolong the inevitable. My plan is once I finish my rig in 2 months, I want to try and see if I can do something like this in the south east or even partner with some of the local guys to figure out logistics. Hell, a shared google spreadsheet and all we need to do is update it by which mud member can be effective. Then again, I'm just a crazy guy with a love for his 94 80 series.

The throttle cable is the "kick-down cable" in our vernacular.
