I sell property down there, let me know when you are ready. The flight is 3 hours from Dallas or Miami. New orleans had direct flights untill Katrina. I am hoping they will start again but we live in Louisiana so this is just wishfull thinking.

Trying to have it shipped back here. I hope I can flip the Bezel at one of our wrenching sessions. I think even my skills are up to it!

Post a link, I'd like to see all of them. Fantastic pics I believe I could walk the streets and enjoy seeing the cruisers working and driving by. :D

The scenery is fantastic and not what I was expecting, what a beautiful place.

Thanks guys, I took about 1100 pics on this trip. I did't take any pics of cruisers in San Jose (the capital) because it is such a crazy, dirty place. I had to pay attention to just get out of there and down to paridise. So, really I only took pics of cruisers in very small towns. Like towns with maybe 10,000 people and less. I will photobucket all of the pics in the near future. My father came with me this trip and he has alot of the pics. His cd burner is not working right now so it may be in a week or so.

Costa rica is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The pics that you see are just from my property! There are other areas that are so different and beautiful it is amazing. Volcano Arenal is like a dream world. It is the most active volcano in the world. Everynight it shoots fireballs thousands of feet in the air and when the balls come down they explode on the side of the volcano and turn into smaller balls that roll all the way down. You can watch all of this from less than 1 mile away sitting at a resort. I could go on and on about costa rica, it holds a true passion in me that rivals my Land Cruiser sickness. Luckily they are both in the same place!

I can see how passionate you are about the place in the way you talk about it. Looks like a great place. How dangerous is it for a Cajun-Redneck to go there and visit. We already talked about not showing any indication of money. I won't shave or cut the hair for a couple weeks I should blend in with the best of them. :lol:
 
When I talked about dangerous I was refering to El Salvador, Honduras, and parts of Guatamala and Nicaragua. Costa Rica is in my mind more safe than the U.S. The people are wonderful. They have no Military. All military moneys went to health care and education. A coon ass like you (and the size of you) would never have a problem. I am not a big guy and have never even got in an argument with anyone down there. And I have spent almost two years down there. Once you go, you will see exactly what I am talking about.
