i have a 75 series pickup. I feel there is very little leg room. what have you done to make a more room for your legs? new seat? something else?

In some cases a thick seat cushion helps. You have headroom to spare.

I have searched a lot to find legroom specs for the 70 series with absolutely no luck. Can't find info on ANY model, even the new ones in Australia or Middle East.

Every LC I've owned has required seat extensions for me to be comfortable. They apparently were built exlusively for normal and midget sized people.
The FJ Cruiser has good legroom-go figure!

My old 4Runner seems to be adequate, which is somewhat strange because on paper it's the same as a stock 80 series. Must be the seating position. In general, older cruisers seem to be worse. 80>60>40.

Good luck. If you can't move the seat back any further due to cab dimensions I'd try a shorter seat from some other rig and/or raising the position, as previously suggested.
