I had a similar incident with a mailbox the same night I got the 80. I couldn't see a brick mailbox behind me and ripped the rear fender flare off it made the decision to go flareless easy

Do you have the 2f radiator with that sbc or was it upgraded? I can't remember if it was you or Sean that had issues last time...

It was Sean with issues at SCC. I had the oem radiator but had replaced it a while back with a 3 core aluminum for the sbc. Thankfully it was just a hose and (maybe) thankfully that hose did go because no telling what kind of problems it may have caused. All I know is that she doesn't get much over 210 any more.
