Just picked this up for cheap. Needs a lot of work, if I had seen it in the day light I may have hesitated on buying it. At some point one of the owners turned it into a dump trailer by cutting the A frame and making a pivot point there. Oh yeah the trailer was loaded into the back of my truck and driven home that way as it wasn't registered, didn't have lights, and I wasn't sure it would make the 180 mile trip.

And the pictures begin...

How I bought it.

More after making it road legal.

Some more pictures after making it street legal so I can get it registered. Lots to do in the future. I need to replace the floor and get the tailgate fixed first. One of my shop helpers got caught in a picture.

I believe its a bantam T-3. Not sure though. It has a horse trailer style ball hitch installed on it currently. Going to update to a pintle hitch, put in a new axle to match the 40s width and bolt pattern and then make a lid for the trailer. Oh yeah, also going to cut off the wodden rack holders that are ghetto fabbed on.

Looks like a fun build. I'm interested in a similar style trailer. Subscribed.

Anyone know what the inside dimensions of the trailer should be? Also since I need to replace the bottom, what does Mud suggest for doing this? Diamond plate? Skin it in sheetmetal? Try and get the school's welding and fab program to put the ribs into sheetmetal and then install that?

Thanks,
Brittain
