wow, that is one cherry looking 60. Todd, how many hours did it take you to replace that quarter panel?

I had a body shop instructor look at my cruiser and he said I would spend way to much time repairing both sides then buying another rust free used cruiser. He probably is right.

Well, if it wasn't a long time family wagon, I don't think I'd have gone through the effort. The whole enchilada from driving into the shop to putting color back on took @ 10 days. The qpanel work (both sides) specifically took @ 4 days to gut, cut, drill out spot welds, section new panels and weld these sections in.

That is at a fully equipped shop with extensive help from the crew. I certainly wouldn't try this at home. Well. maybe I would but I am not too bright.

Reassembled for the most part mud flaps and snake blinders to install and figure out why the stereo has no sound. Pics of it arrived at home for the finishing touches.

The truck look amazing!!!
What shop did the work? Are they close to NJ? Was the cost fair (esp for the quarter panel replacement)?

Also do you have any close up shots of the quarter panles matching up to the rocker panels, and also matching up to the rear under the bumper?

Thanks,
Zack

The shop is in Columbus, Ohio. Cost...well that is immaterial as I and the shop owner go back 38 years together and I did a fair amount of the work other than one of his employees who was gung ho to hang those quarters on it. He just loves that panel replacement work :meh: ...and for a youngster:grinpimp:...did and excellent job.

The only shots I have are in this thread...sorry when I get there and taking vacation to do this stuff...time is of the essence so pics are not a high priority.
