It'll be done...nothing like getting everything handled right down to the wire. Brent do you have the official address for the event...I need to plug it into my Nav...

Food for Saturday night

Brent,

I have the banner for you and will bring a table, ezup, and some money for change. Will be there Thursday around 6.

We need to work out the menu for Saturday's meal. Nancy and I will go to the store and get what is needed to round out the meal.

We are doing a 50/25/25 raffle as the BIG item this year. 50% to the winner, and 25% each to TLCA/TCC. We''ll have some smaller items also.

I have to head back to DSM for an event Friday night, but will be back later that night with the 40.

Thanks!
Casey

Its lots of fun here! Work called me back to reality today but we will be back tomorrow.

Probably come out late tonight. Going to need to know where I can drop my trailer once I'm unloaded and who I need to get with for fees.

Late night arrival

Probably come out late tonight. Going to need to know where I can drop my trailer once I'm unloaded and who I need to get with for fees.

Just find the bonfire and some intoxicated person will help you. Ask for Dudley.

Check in will open 7ish in the morning at the Iowa Speedway EZup tent. You can park your trailer south of the gravel lane you drive in on, there are 4 trailers/tow rigs parked there now, you'll see it. Look forward to having you join us!

Casey

Off Road N00b

Hi guys, I wanted to post a few pictures from Saturday. It was my first real off road experience riding with Jim T. and it was awesome! It was great to meet some of you and learn about Toyotas and the basics of off roading. Jim even let me drive a little which was awesome!

I'm going to have to add 4x4's to my list of automotive and motorcycle addictions! I did have a J**p for a few months - and it was fun but I think after Saturday's advertisement for Toyotas that I'm starting to think they are the best way to go.

One of the things I like is the family aspect of off roading. When I take my 911 to the track it is just me. When I race my kart it is just me. I don't want to put the kids on the back of the motorcycle with me. With a 4x4 the whole family can join in the fun.

I hope to meet up with you all again in the future.

Old Wrangler it was a bit too rusty for my taste. We did a little bit of mud puddlin' but that was about it for the off roading before I sold it:

The pics look great! Looks like fun! I'm so sad we couldn't make it!!! :crybaby: I'm still stuck in bed with my bad back. Ready to be back to normal, but we'll see when that happens... We missed you all.

We'll see you at the next meeting and definitely will be there next year.......with a new little cruiser-lover on board! For those of you who aren't on FB, we're having a baby. Due March 20th.
